Robert Pattinson has revealed that he loved filming the second installment of Twilight because he’s not in it as much.

The 23-year-old heartthrob says he was able to take more of a backseat this time around and hopes that once the movie hits cinemas, all the attention he gets might be directed at his co-star, Taylor Lautner, instead.

He said: "I'm not the lead in the second film. Taylor Lautner is. I appear in Bella's dreams. So I'm in it but the focus is not on me.

"So I'm more of a supporting role in this one, which is why I felt so free.”\

Speaking to the Sydney Morning Herald, Rob described how his pin-up status has transformed his life and made it very difficult for him to find time for romance.

He said: "Girls scream out for Edward, not Robert. I still can't get a date.

他說：「女孩們尖叫都是為了愛德華，不是Robert。因為我還是沒有約會啊」

“I was having lunch down the road the other day. We were in this place for a couple of hours and suddenly there was like 400 people outside on the street. It was just so nuts and it's like that all the time now."
